Kennel Construction

With 18 puppies born between October and December 2017, they are growing fast and we need to build kennels in Brazil. Sibling squabbles have started and currently no accommodations to start separating.

Everyone has helped so much when Phoebe, Sunday and Jasmine were rescued and gave birth. Since the puppies cannot travel for several months and we are waiting adoption inquiries, we need to build kennel space now.

This fundraiser will cover the construction of 10 double accommodation kennels and 3 singles. It includes drains for kennel wash down and sanitizing, rendering, fencing, gates, concrete, roofing and electrical as lights run overnight to ward off bats which may carry rabies.

It will also help get Pepper and Thor out of the emergency kennels which are too small for longer term living. They were only meant as temporary for emergencies. Also this includes two proper kennels for Eve, Ginger, Lizzie and Shane who have been living over 1.5yrs in temporary kennels where last year a wind storm blew off the roof.

We continue to hold hope for adoptions but time is against us. This will help accommodate 23 dogs (that’s $1565 per dog!). Please help to build proper homes for our rescues as they wait to be adopted.
