On August 18th, 2017 Kennedy was taken to the Emergency room for a very low Red Blood Cell count. She was then transferred via ambulance to the Saint Francis Medical Center where on August 20th Kennedy was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and then transported to Saint Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis Tennessee. Kennedy will currently spend the next 6-8 weeks at Saint Judes undergoing Chemotherapy.
Kennedy has a hard battle ahead of her and has been responding to treatment extremely well. Money raised will be used for the portions of her treatment not done at Saint Judes. We truly appreciate everyones support.
