Kendra's tooth extraction

Kendra came into our life 10 years ago as a feral stray found wondering the hot streets of Laredo. We don't know were she came from or how she was treated before living with us but she was very mistrusting. Its taken years but she finally feels safe enough with us and has come around to being a loving and sweet kitty. She loves to be pet on her little nose, her favorite treat is pate, and loves to play with her feathered toy.  She is Ale's best friend or as I like to say her Pokemon because she follows her everywhere.

A few days ago she was frantically scratching her face and upon further inspection we noticed her gums were red, swollen and a canine was black. We took her to the vet and were told that she had a tooth infection. We were sent home with antibiotics but the infection is so bad that she needs a tooth extraction or the infection could spread systemically.

Her surgery is scheduled two months from now (the earliest appointment we could get). Unfortunately, the cost is higher than we can afford  as students but we want her to be healthy and happy. This fundraiser will hopefully cover most of the costs associated with the needed medical attention and surgery to prevent further complications. We truly appreciate anything contributed given the uncertainty and struggle of the times. Stay safe everyone.
