Steffani and Ken Mercer Funeral and Medical Bills

Update: Steffani passed away yesterday, she is now in heaven with her sweetheart. That’s all I can say at this point. This is all too much. If you would like to have your funds refunded we will figure that out. If not the funds will be used for the following purposes; the memorial services, rehoming their three adorable dogs (see attached photos and let me know if you would like more info). Any remaining money we will donate in both of their names after the family decides.

On behalf of the Mercer, Lagadinos, and Sunahara families, I am sorry to inform you that Ken Mercer, a fixture of the North American telecom channel has passed away suddenly of an undiagnosed illness. He leaves the love of his life Steffani Sunahara Mercer and his beloved pups Suki, Baxter and Daisy. He also leaves his parents Ken Mercer Sr and Julie Mercer, his sister Kyla Mercer, his mother in law and father in law , Carol and Larry Lagadinos, as well as, his sisters in law, Kimberly and Melanie Sunahara. For those of that knew Ken well you know though he was fully human and struggled like all of us, however, you also knew his intentions were true and his heart was always in the right place. Over the last few years, Ken has been particularly sensitive to the issues of the disadvantaged and all minorities. He was a friend and ally to many women, minorities and others in the channel. I served with him on Informa’s DEI board and I was always impressed with his passion and commitment for doing the right things for others in all walks of life. Ken also never met a stranger. He would speak to anyone about anything, always popping a short story of his wife and dogs into the conversations. Ken spent his career in the channel, most recently working with Telesystems, he also spent many years with TBI and Mason and MetTel. Ken was an honored member of the Naval forces for the US Government prior to joining the private sector. The channel is full of big hearted people, now more than ever I need you to show this aspect of how we support each other. As you can well imagine, Ken’s and his wife were not fully prepared for this. I have created a go fund me account that you may use to donate in Ken’s memory. Any amount will be sincerely appreciated by Steffani as she works to rebuild her life without Ken. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support.
