Ken Churchill Memorial & Legacy Fund

Donation protected

My name is Bryan Clay and this legacy memorial fund is for humanitarian, homeless advocate and my best friend, Kenneth Churchill.

Ken was, by far, one of the most selfless human beings I had ever met in my lifetime and we would spend the better of 25 years working together to get his message raising awareness of the ever growing homeless population in the U.S. to the masses and any political figures that could make a difference!

Other than being a great humanitarian, Ken was also a talented writer of poetry and the author of a free book titled “American Homeless Land Model, A Book To Congress, A Speech To Mankind”

Ken had been a homeless advocate for over a decade when we were introduced at one of my band rehearsals in the mid 90's, and fell in love with a song I had written called “Streetman” about a homeless man I spent some time with, while performing in NYC.

Ken asked me if I’d be interested in utilizing it’s message, to raise awareness and further help his cause, doing great performances with like minded artists to put on concerts in different parts of N.Y.

What made these concerts so unique is that there was no money involved at all, instead, anyone wanting to see these concerts only had to bring either canned goods or a clean blanket or jacket.

Ken and I would spend the next decade working and performing together for charity, to help local homeless families around Nassau & Suffolk counties on Long Island, all the way into Harlem!!

In the end of our run, KEN tallied that we had helped an astonishing 3000+ families within that timeframe! We have remained close friends ever since.

Ken’s website recently caught the attention of an Ohio politician in September of 2021, who wanted to  use Ken’s legislation to implement his land model idea, but sadly Ken had gotten Pneumonia and passed away suddenly on October 14th 2021, before his Land Model dream could be realized.

All of Ken’s humanitarian efforts to help the lives of so many were done on his own dime, while living off of Social Security. He sadly had no money saved for final expenses and Ken’s sister, Joan, has asked me for help.

This fundraiser will pay for Ken’s memorial costs, as well as, double as his legacy fund, to help offset production and maintenance costs of his website, to keep his legacy going, FOREVER! There is an escrow account already set up for this.

This website features all of Ken's legislative videos, local TV interviews from Long Island, Woodstock & Daytona. His legislation documents, poetry and features his free book, which are all there, available to read and download, FREE as always!!

To see what your donation will assist with, please visit www.homelesslandmodel.com, created, maintained and financially supported by me, as I continue to help get his message heard, as promised, the best way we knew how.

Thanks so much for the love and support and please share with anyone that can help!

Sincerely,
Bryan Clay
