Ken has cancer and is in the middle place between being uninsured and waiting for his VA benefits to come through.
In early September Ken went to the ER with severe stomach pain and spent a week there getting stable and diagnosed. Right now he is on several different pain killers while he waits for full admission to the VA system where he can finish being diagnosed and get started with radiation and chemo.
In the meantime, he can't work and needs help covering expenses for medications, travel, food and rent. He also needs some clothes as he's lost so much weight nothing fits anymore.
