Kellyn's ICU Hospital Stay
Donation protected
On December 10, 2015, our lives changed forever. Our 6 year old daughter, Kellyn, was admitted to the Emergency Room with a blood sugar level that was over 600...150 being the normal level.
Later that evening she was transferred by ambulance to another hospital, and admitted to their Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, where she stayed for 3 days.
Thankfully she is back home and doing well, although the new routine of many finger "pokes" (to test blood sugar levels) and 4 insulin shots a day can be a bit daunting.
Kellyn's care/medication will be a lifelong expense, but at this point we are just trying to take care of some of the hospital bills.
We feel indebted to any and all acts of kindness, and would much rather be in a position to give instead of receive!
Please share this with your friends/family if you care to.
Thanks for sharing, thanks for caring, and thanks for praying.
