Kelly Held Medical Assistance

On Friday, December 3rd, Kelly Held had gastric bypass surgery and hernia repair. She was expected to be discharged on Saturday, December 4th. Due to significant complications and a lacerated intestine she developed sepsis, has had heart failure and is on a ventilator. Kelly has been in the ICU and is optimistically expected to have a long road to recovery. Each day has presented new challenges, but her family has been by her side.

Kelly is a Funeral Director in Ellensburg, WA, for Brookside Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. Her passion is helping others and is the most empathetic and compassionate person you will meet. Her faith is palpable. The amount of love and support that has poured in has been overwhelming but it goes to show how many lives she has touched.
