Kellie's Medical Expenses

My name is Kellie Appo, I'm 36 years of age and I've never been one to ask for help but I've come to a stage in my life where I need to ask for help. I have had a renal disease all my life its called post infectious glomerulonephritis and it wasnt until 4years ago that things got worse. At the age of 2years old my parents were told that I had nephrities but were informed that it would never affect me through out my life. Over the years I've seen numerous specialist and doctors regarding my kidney diease. I have managed to keep my kidney function at a stable pace. Years went by until 4years ago when i got really sick not thinking much of it went to the doctor and my kidney function had deteriorated. Last year I was told by my kidney specialist that i would need to have a fistual put in my arm so I would be able to start heamodialysis.  I had the fistula put in and this year in March I started heamodialysis. I go 3 days a week to get hooked up to a dialysis machine to clean away fluid and filter my blood. I'm now in talks with the specialist to go on the waiting list for a  kidney transplant  but that will take a bit of time due to testing. I'm asking for help as I'm unable to afford the medical bills and the cost associated with the transplant, accommodation and travel expenses . I'm asking for help as I want to be around for my 3 boys and show them that anything is possible even if you are delt a bad hand in life. Life is what you make it and I'm trying to stay positive and happy for my family as they see me battle most days.
