On the morning of December 7th, we lost more than a colleague. We lost a part of the SAP utilities family. SAP is dedicated to our focus in celebrating the incredible life of William “Bill” Kelley with the help of our friends, customers and partners with every chance afforded. Bill enriched our lives immeasurably, and in us, his legacy will live on.
This website was created for the Kelley family to continue to commemorate Bill. It is dedicated to preserving and celebrating the memory of Bill as a husband, father, and community hero.
Bill was a mentor to many, a dear friend to most, and respected by all that knew him. The outpouring of stories and personal tributes shared across SAP have a common sentiment. Bill lived his life with purpose. So much so, that in early 2015, the SAP utilities team reaffirmed their business unit commitment and objectives in honor of Bill and now represent “Industry with Purpose” with everything we do.
#IWP has wasted no time completing our first charitable activity giving meaning to a true Industry with Purpose. $22,000 was raised within 30 days with an assembly of 104 individual donors across various SAP teams, regions, and members of our partner community. Contributions will go directly to the Kelley family, with a dollar-for-dollar match provided to our corporate responsibility fundraiser at the SAP annual field kick-off meeting, the One San Diego Foundation.
