Kelley and Taylor

Donation protected
As you probably already know, Kelley just lost her mom, Cindy, after a battle with a rare disease called sarcoidosis. Kelley devoted a lot of her time and emotional energy to helping her mom throughout her struggle, as she's done for countless others. She has requested, in lieu of flowers, a donation to the Sarcoidosis Foundation, to help further research efforts for this relatively unknown condition. While I think this is a great cause and people should definitely still donate, I have another option that will serve to benefit Kelley and Taylor, and give them a much needed and deserved break from their sorrow.
She shared with me today a wish she had for her and Taylor to visit the Harry Potter amusement park in California (possibly for spring break?) to bring some joy to their lives and assist in the grieving process. She also expressed some conflicting emotions and concerns about the appropriateness of a trip or having fun during this time, but I think it's a great idea and we should try to erase her doubts.
It may seem like a trivial endeavor, but we all know it takes a lot for Kelley to do anything for herself or ask for help. If you were planning on buying her a sympathy card, flowers, or anything else, maybe consider donating to this fund instead; every little bit helps. This extra money may also help defray some of the costs associated with Cindy's celebration of life.
Thank you!
