KEITH'S MEDICAL EXPENSES FUND

Last year was a challenging year for me medically. I have health insurance and of course there were out of pocket expenses which first drained my flexible spending account I have through work. Drained my personal savings of about $9000, and all of my vacation and sick leave at work. I've been fortunate that I am still being paid but don't know how long that will continue. I was in and out of the hospital and spent about half the year in the hospital because of infections I kept getting. My doctors began a battery of test to figure out why. In November I received a con firmed diagnosis of having NASH (non-alcoholic fatty liver disease) apparently very common. My doctor explained that in my then condition I was on the lower end of the need for a transplant scale, but should ready myself for the disease to progress, but hopefully it won't be for a few years. That need has now gone to 6-8 months which is going to force me to retire and live with family until I find a liver. May 13 this year I became sick and went to the emergency room and was told that I was in Septic Shock and very lucky that I was able to get to the ER when I did. I was admitted to the ICU and spent four days there until I stabilized and was then moved to a medical observation floor. On May 30th the hospital was told by the insurance company that the were not covering the hospital stay so I was moved to a rehabilitation facility to continue my recovery. Today June 23rd I was told that the insurance company was no longer covering my stay here even though my doctors have advised against it. So as of tomorrow June 24th my continued stay is being paid by me, which I can't afford to stay past Monday. So with that I find my self in a situation that is not very good.  I've been working to get on the transplant list so it's now just a waiting game but the bills and expenses keep coming. So I find myself having to ask for your help. Please help, and thank you in advance for doing so.
