My sister Keisha is 43 years old and was diagnosed with breast cancer June 2016. For those of you who know her, you know that she is an extraordinary human being. Keisha is loving, always puts her friends and family before herself and is truly the strongest person I know.
Keisha completed 6 months of chemo, and radiation. She also did 2 surgeries for her double mastectomy with reconstruction in January 2017. She won the battle against breast cancer and then September 2017 we received the news of liver cancer.
Because of this she has not been able to return to work and will need to take a new and costly drug as an alternative option. Given the serious nature of her illness this promising drug has been recommended.
