Kefira's Mission Trip with YWAM Toowoomba

Hi Friends,
I am excited to share with you the amazing opportunity that the Lord has placed in my path, Youth With a Mission Toowoomba in Australia this upcoming January!
The motto of YWAM is “To know God and to make Him known.” I am looking forward to the upcoming Discipleship Training School with anticipation and excitement for what God has in store for me as I grow in knowing Him and learning more about making Him known.
In this particular DTS, the theme is Music and Worship, in which students will have the opportunity to get to know God better and share Him with others through music ministry. This DTS is conducted over a 5-month period with 3 months of lectures and 2 months of local & overseas outreach. Throughout the Lecture Phase, we will be learning more about the nature and character of God, our identity in Him, relationships, missions and receiving God’s heart for evangelism, along with other subjects. What we learn during this session will equip us for the mission field to reach those who may not know about Christ. YWAM Toowoomba has a heart for Southeast Asia, so we have the opportunity to reach those in perhaps in Thailand, Hong Kong, or Cambodia! Ministry during the Outreach Phase may include ministering to locals with music, leading music services, reaching out to those involved in the sex trade, teaching English, ministering to the poor, or playing with children in orphanages.
As January approaches, God is preparing my heart for His plans for me. Learning to trust in Him in terms of funding for what seems to be a daunting amount of money has been a wild yet comforting ride. I am currently working two jobs to support myself financially but am also in need of other support. If you would like to contribute with donations and prayers, I hope you view this as a unique opportunity to be a big part in this exciting journey!
