Saving Daniel

In the early hours of Tuesday 3rd September, our friend Daniel had a seizure that was so violent it fractured and dislocated his arm, which we have now discovered was the result of a brain tumor that has now been removed in a life-threatening, complex surgery. Daniel went under the knife for 9 hours, was in intensive care for days and is still only at the start of this journey.

Daniel is a father of three beautiful little children, and husband of our beloved friend, and he and his precious family are now facing the fear of an uncertain future as he commences the next stage in his care. He is awaiting the results of the tumor to see if he needs to undergo chemo and/or radiation therapy, he will be given Speech and Occupational Therapy, Neurological tests and therapies and has ongoing appointments including a lung biopsy for swollen lymph nodes. He is 39 years old.

Mudgeeraba based, Daniel and his wife run the small business that supports their young family, and they now are facing financial hardship as well as the fear and cost that comes with serious medical conditions.
