Hi my name is Shawnea Ockelberry I am the 4th child of Indrel Green out of 5 I've chosen to create this account due to my mom's condition my brother's, sisters and I have been notified that our mom is critically ill we are still keeping the faith in what steps to take next but we have decided to try and raise money for her hospital needs or any other needs that concern her during this stage of Covid..August 24th 2021 we received a call saying Indrel Green was in the hospital fighting for her life on a ventilator with COVID-19. We contacted the jail to see what was going on and why was no one contacted not even her emergency contacts about her and her health. It was then drawn to our attention that she was released from jail on August 18 2021. So this makes 6 days that we have to find out where is she is and what happened to her, it’s like she is missing at this point and the only help we had was outsiders calling around from jail trying to get messages to us. We called Bell County Sheriff's Department and was told all day yesterday that they have no records of her and that she just signed herself out of the system and bonded out on her own and walked out…that didn’t make sense Indrel knew who to call when she was released she had numbers and she is not gone walk no where when her place to reside is to far from the jail. We then uncovered that it was all a lie, Indrel had been very sick for days before they rushed her to the hospital . She was not released on the 18th that she was in fact rushed to a hospital (with 2 other ppl) on August 16, 2021 at 6:09 pm where she got Covid tested and came up positive. The hospital finally informed us that she was cold to the touch and barely responsive when she was dropped off and she been on a ventilator fighting for her life since then. So thats actually 8 days she was fighting for her life and none of her family knew or was contacted. So we asked why was we lied and told that she walked out the jail and posted her own bond I was then transferred to a sheriff who told me that she was took to the hospital on the 16th and that they didn’t want any decision making to be in their hands so they went to speak to a judge and got her released on they own. They knew Indrel was sick, they knew she was passing out on and off from Covid and did nothing until it was to severe and close to death. Now she is sitting on a ventilator fighting for her life because aid wasn’t rendered sooner. Now we have a life and death situation where we don’t know what’s next for her, we just lost our grandma and now we stuck at another cross roads praying for a miracle. This hurts and for anybody who family is sitting in any type of jail or prison please check up on them daily even if you haven’t heard from them. And if you can please share this if this happen to my mom imagine how many other ppl is sitting In there suffering or not getting aid rendered in time.
