Keeping the Afable's Afloat

Calling on dear friends and family of George Afable,

 As many of you have heard, our friend George has been hospitalized following emergency surgery on his heart on December 29th. Sometime during or after the heart surgery he suffered a stroke that has resulted in his being in a coma/sedated state. His physical state is unknown still and the doctors and nurses are working hard to get him to wake up and respond to commands. They have seen some progress but it is very slow and the effects of the stroke will not be fully understood until he has awakened. One thing that is certain is that it is going to be a very long road to recovery for him.

 Sweet Gabbie and Gillian have been at his side for all of this. Their love and support will go miles to helping George wake up and begin his journey. The very last thing these beautiful young ladies need to worry about is keeping George’s household expenses afloat while they deal with the unknown. They have been incredibly strong for their dad and now it is our time to be strong for them.

 Please consider a donation, no matter how small, to help this family deal with the immediate financial needs that they are facing. Without George being able to provide them with information regarding bills and bank accounts, the girls will be needing our help just to get through the next few weeks. Imagine if your children had to all the sudden take on all the adult responsibilities of a household. The least we can do is make sure the girls are taken care of so they can focus on waking up their dad and bringing him back to them.
