Keeping mummy with Casper, Iron man!

Donation protected

My son was born on the 4th of may at 24 weeks and 4 days, I live down in Cornwall and my son Casper had to be transferred to Bristol from Plymouth hospital. Was told all accommodation would be sorted and not to worry. 7/5/21 We was told Casper wouldn't need surgery and that it was a case of making sure he was well enough to travel back to Plymouth keeping an eye on him.

On Friday20/5/21 my husband and other 3 children came up and plans was to get a hotel till Sunday, just little bit of normality back for myself and him to spend time with his son, swap places sort of thing, They arrived at around 4 to 6 in the evening and the plan for Casper now was first thing to be transferred back to Plymouth!! My husband used my room as given permission a couple days before didn't see this as a problem and went to find out the information himself and plans still was Casper to be moved in the morning at 9 in morning as long as no emergency happen. Kids had just travelled from Cornwall to Bristol and had fallen asleep by this time. Morning comes and manager asked myself to leave. As I have no fight and all I do have is for Casper and him to get better I just packed my stuff believing we all off to Plymouth at 9 anyways. Gets to 12 not much information given but my husband still outside with 3 other children then 4 o'clock and Plymouth team have arrived all was ok we believe and sent on our way, did have just a horrible feeling but just believe it was because I had to leave him again. Got to a service station where my phone rang and the news comes Casper is not well enough to travel consultants have said. Rush back to Bristol hospital to find out he needs emergency surgery on his bowel after all. Thank god he was not moved, I have now had a hotel payed for by the hospital but have been told its only for two days. On arrival finding out its a good 20 minute walk away from the hospital I don't wish or feel I can stay there, my husband has to take the car with him as we have 3 other children at home that have lives we need to keep as normal as possible. We now been told we looking at anywhere between 8 to 12 weeks up here as Casper has had to have some of his bowel removed which has left him with a stoma bag till well enough to rejoin back together. On top off this I now been told these no where for me to stay after tomorrow. A friend suggested this never be one to admit need a little help but this on top of Casper being poorly and not having no family close by i really don't know what to do. Willing to camp outside but need keep myself well for Casper thanks for taking time to read much love Our Richards family.. xXx
