Keeping a Vet from Homelessness

Donation protected

You know what they say, "Once a Marine, always a Marine."  My brother served in the Marine Corp and I am a very proud baby sister.  He has been through hell... before enlisting and after.

When he got out of the Marines, we were all shocked to find that all of the money he earned and saved away in his account at a credit union was gone.  Our "dad", who helped him set up the account, took it ALL and left.  Left town.  Left his son with nothing.  As you can imagine, this left my brother with a lot of emotional and mental anguish that he has been dealing with ever since in addition to the PTSD.

Recently, our sister suddenly died , which was a devastating loss...to me and to my brother.  He is not coping well and has now lost his job.  He has been in touch with Veterans Suicide Prevention and is wearing his Suicide Hotline bracelet.  I am in the process of getting him some help through the VA, but this is a long and arduous process.

He is currently two and a half months behind in rent and has no food in his house.  Because he lives in a very low-income apartment, his monthly rent is only $650.  I am looking for help with as much of that as I can in order to keep one more vet -- my brother -- off the streets.

Will you help?  No amount is too small and I am sure you can imagine, it will mean the world to him, me, and streets already filled with homeless vets to help keep a roof over my brother's head.

Can you give $10?  $25?  Please, PLEASE help.

Thank you.
