Help us keep Walk the West open
Never in a million years did I think we would be in this situation and yet here we are. If you can afford to help in anyway, it would make all the difference. If you're unable to donate at this time then sharing this campaign or our website www.wtwvintage.com would be greatly appreciated.
This year marks 4 years of our brick and mortar store; Walk the West. I couldn't have imagined the nightmare we're now in across the world and in our little community of independent stores in Greenpoint. Like all non-essential businesses, COVID-19 has closed our store.
Unfortunately, the pain hasn't stopped there. My family have been sick with the virus for the past month, unable to do anything other than look after our health, and then last week the most awful thing imaginable happened to me. My biggest supporter and inspiration - my mother, died of cancer 3,500 miles away in London.
Despite all this I am still required to pay bills, taxes, and rent required for keeping the store. The amount requested will cover most major costs for the next few months.
