Keep the Sparkle for Jess

Dear Sparkly Friends – by now many of you have heard that our dear friend, Jessica, has been in the hospital. What started out as “not feeling too well” turned into a severe case of pancreatitis, with complications. Currently, Jess remains in ICU and is breathing with the assistance of a vent/tracheostomy. At this time we are uncertain how long it will take her body to heal but we know the road to recovery is going to be long. Jessica may need one or more surgeries, once she is in stable condition, and will most likely need rehab care due to being under ICU hospital care for an extended time. So very many have asked how to help and, with Ben’s permission, we are setting up this GoFundMe page. As we rally behind Ben and Olivia to provide meals and make certain Ben has time to spend with Jess, we also know the financial burden will be great. Ben will be taking a medical leave from work, once Jessica is stable, to help in her care. At this time, we are planning this could be anywhere from 2-3 months. If you are able, please consider helping Jessica, Ben, and Olivia. We will provide updated reports on her condition as it is provided to us by Ben. Jessica shares so much love with us all. Now is the time for us to wrap her in our hearts and hold all of them a little closer. Please consider sharing this with your extended family and friends.
