Changing Lives of the Homeless

House of Refuge is a emergency homeless shelter, serving men in Wyandotte County and surrounding areas.  We receive referrals from other community organizations such as Mirror, Kansas Department of Corrections, Wyandotte Center,  hospitals and Village Initiative etc.  We are the only men's emergency shelter in the Wyandotte County. Our goal is to help the men transition from  homelessness to being stable, independent, productive men.  We offer service such as life skills coaching, housing assistance, referrals for medical, social and mental services.
This is a 501c3 organization that is  funded through private donations, grants, and fundraisers.  Our focus is to help end homelessness.
