The Museum, DBA the West Haven Veteran's Museum & Learning Center, opened in 1992. Our income is based solely on donations; the Staff are all Volunteers. Cancellation of all Tours and Events since the Pandemic began has left us without an income. When we can fully reopen is unknown.
Our Mission is to honor the men and women who served our state and nation in times of conflict and natural disasters. We collect and preserve artifacts to help explain to future generations how our fighting men and women lived and survived while serving our nation.
