Keep the FireBear team rolling

Mike 'FireBear' Dunajew has over 30 years of dedicated study of medieval history, re-enactment involvement and arms and armour making. Bear began making chain mail when he was seven years old, and completed his first hauberk by the time he was sixteen. He began his teaching life when he became the Resident Armourer at Kryal Castle, VIC in 2006. He has always loved sharing his knowledge of medieval history with eager learners.
There are some things we should not aim to be so historically accurate about though…
COVID stopped most, if not all, of the events we usually attend. With the world opening up again, we want to get back on the move!
We hope to raise $45,000 to get a new van or truck to help us get to and from medieval events and school demos. Our siege equipment alone takes a lot of space, and you just can’t have a real arms and armour demonstration without siege equipment.
Bits and Bolts Challenge
Follow us on our Facebook page during May, as every donation made will add some colour to our dream van.
When a donation is made, use your comment OR message us on Facebook to customise your part of the van!
Any donations made without instructions will be distributed through the equivalent number of bits.
Follow us here and on Facebook at Firebear's Re-Vanpening for updates, videos, spotlights and more!
