Help Sylvia save her business

Donation protected
I am asking for help to save my sister, Sylvia's business from closing.  As a recovering addict, she has overcome so much.  Sylvia is a major success story -- a real miracle of what hard work, and faith will get you.  She had been addicted to crack cocine and lived a life that led her to serving six years in prison.  As a convicted felon, it was hard to find work, but, with the support of our mother, she preservered and is where she is today.  My mother was so proud of her, and so am I.

Through the support of the former UPS Store owner, whom my sister worked for in the past, she was blessed to be the owner of a UPS Store in VA Beach, VA since October 2013.  This October will be her 4th anniversary.  Like the former owner, who assisted her in getting the business, she employs those who might not be able to find employment elsewhere.  She also employs military veterans and their spouses.  She is thankful for her opportunity and feels that it is important to share her blessings with others.  My sister is a hardworker and has been making a real go of the business, that is until my mother's illness.  She took time away from her business to travel to Northern Virginia, sometimes staying for weeks,  to help with my mother's care.

Without her oversite and "go get em" spirit, her business has suffered, especially from loss of contracts that are the backbone of the business.

Our mother died, June 17th, and Sylvia has been back at work trying to catch up.  She will have to close her store if she is not able to pay her past due equipment and store site lease, not to mention payroll.

Her busy season will start up in November, and things should level out, but unless she can stay open till then, she may lose her business.  Unless her past due rent is paid, she will be locked out of the store and the business will close.  As an update, her landlord has extended the deadline for her past due rent to October 31, 2017. Praise God!  She has been blessed with more time, to come up with the past due rent.  She will also be able to make this month's payroll.

I am devastated to find out that she may lose her business, and I am reaching out to anyone who can offer any financial support.  No amount is too small.  She has come so far, and with your help, I know that she can turn things around, and make her business a success again. Prayers are also deeply appreciated.  Thanks and Blessings to all.
