Keep Somerset's Flag Flying

During July of this year high winds raised the Somerset County flag that flies over the Veterans Memorial Plaza near the Turnpike Interchange. enough to catch the three highest retainer rings at the top of the pole. We could not lower the flag for repairs until we could schedule a large crane to free it. While the Flag was caught, it incurred additional damage and is now not repairable. The cost of the crane severely depleted our funds and we are unable to purchase a full sized 30 x 60 foot flag.

 

Please help us keep the Somerset County Flag flying over the Veterans Memorial Plaza.
