AMAN, in participation with the national MLK Day of Service and the Presidential Inaugural Committee, is raising money with Transform America to help provide space heaters to the many Astoria residents in public housing who have been living without gas and heat.  

Each heater costs about $30, but any amount you can donate is greatly appreciated. We hope to raise enough money for at least 200 heaters and then distribute them by the end of the month. 

We will also be collecting new and gently used warm weather clothing to distribute at Queensbridge Houses on January 22nd.
