Keep our little bookstore running smoothly

Dear Supporters,

We are reaching out to you, our beloved bookish community, in a time of need for The Penny University Bookstore. Over the past few years, running an independent bookstore has been a labour of love. The local support we have received along the way has been incredible. Along with our fellow small businesses, we've weathered the challenges, celebrated successes, and most importantly, served our community with joy and passion for literature.

This past winter has been exceedingly tough with the general economic downturn that we're all feeling the effects of. We only just survived the CEBA loan repayment deadline, which wiped out all we'd saved over the busy holiday season. And things never seem to get any easier!

We now face another hurdle that threatens our ability to continue serving you effectively. Most urgently, we need your help to afford the annual subscription to our 'Bookmanager' software, an essential tool that enables us to efficiently order books for our customers. On top of this, other bills are coming in all the time, and our funds are stretched too thin already. We are really struggling to make ends meet.
