Keep KariLin Warm & Dry for Winter

Winter is coming and if we don't help our neighbor, KariLin Wilson, she may be out in the cold. This campaign is to make sure that the kind and gentle soul we know -- KariLin -- knows we'll be there for her just as she's been there for all of us.
Two years ago, on Christmas Morning, KariLin's husband left her and their son. She'd already been dealing with some health issues, and working through underemployment and nonstop food insecurity. But she always had a smile, a willing heart to help anyone else, and tried hard to look on the bright side. She had a modest home to live in, her son soon found a job that could help them. They would survive. But, unfortunately her work as a child care provider and respite provider and photography work abilities were affected by her health issues.
Finally on the mend, work has been Karilin's life line -- but recently her hours were cut at her most stable form of emplolyment, going from full time, to just a few hours a week. Undeterred she's out there seeking other employment, but winter is coming. just as her modest home is seemingly falling apart around her. Her roof needs repair. There's plumbing issues to repair. And she's been unable to secure the firewood she heats her home with in the winter time, because this summer
she's just been trying to keep above medical bills and regular life expenses.
The funds from this campaign will be used to repair her roof so it can last through the Pacific Northwest Winter, repair the plumbing issues in her home, and get her firewood to keep her warm.
The rains are coming. The snow is coming. The roof repair needs to be done asap. If you've ever been touched by this sweet woman's care and love, as her friend and her neighbor, I ask you to seriously consider contributing to give her a helping hand. I could continue on with adages of charity begins at home and on and on. Instead I'll simply ask that you give what you can or share to those you think would love to help out.
