Keep Handmade Happy Hour Markets Alive
Donation protected
Handmade Happy Hours (HHH) is an event organization in Chicago designed to bring Art & Community together through monthly curated pop-ups.
HHH firmly believes in the notion of "community over competition", and bringing artists & makers an affordable & comfortable space to sell their work to the community.
We've brought the City of Chicago monthly events since May 2019. With every event, we introduce new makers & artists, and their unique talents, to the people of Chicago.
With the uncertain and unusual times we are experiencing, we are no longer able to curate & host monthly pop-ups for the foreseeable future.
Our monthly pop-up markets generate revenue for us to continue to support both new & experienced makers & artists in Chicago - whether that's through in-person markets, social media, our Artist & Maker Networking Events, running our website, or our new Virtual Marketplace.
Right now, the future of HHH is unknown. At the moment, we find ourselves without the funds to continue to host our monthly markets.
Donations will be used in the following ways:
- Future venue rental for markets
- Refund artists who are no longer able to attend previously scheduled markets due to COVID-19 related issues
- Run our website, and our Virtual Marketplace
- Organize future Artist & Maker Networking Events
- Spreading the word about our organization, so that when we can get back to business-as-usual, we can continue bringing Chicago the best artists & makers we have to offer
We greatly appreciate any donations. Whether it's $1 or $20, the funds will be used to support local independent artists & makers through our organization.
