About Goku: 4 year old German Shepard. Loves swimming and fetching anything you throw. Loves bacon strips. Enjoys roving the house to make sure we are safe. Protects us from leaves , and the UPS man on a daily basis. He loves car rides, and the park! Sometimes he also like Grizzly.
Goku’s heart is giving out on him and he’s been in heart failure the past 24 hours. His lungs and belly have fluid in them due to his hearts condition.
He is scheduled to have surgery Friday afternoon. If he doesn’t have the surgery his life prognosis is no longer than 6 months.
The surgery will help him live many more years. We’re just not ready to let him go knowing we can save him.
We do have care credit but the amount of the surgery is between 6-10k depending on how intrusive the surgery will have to be depending on the valve in his heart.
We hate having to ask for help, but the thought of putting him down was too heartbreaking when surgery can save him.
Y’all know how much my furry kids mean to us. Any little bit will help us offset the cost. Thank you!
