Keenan Hart Medical Expenses

Family and Friends, Thank you for your continue prayers and well wishes for our son Keenan.  As many of you know Keenan was a victim of a shooting and is in critical condition.  We remain faithful that Keenan will make it through this, he is a fighter and he has been fighting for his life for a few days.  Each day gets a little better but he has sustained some serious injuries.  He was shot in the vertical vain in his neck and sustained major blood lost, so much, that it caused a large stroke on his left brain.  the bullet also fractured his spine.  Over the next 24 hours will be critical as we've been told the swelling in the brain peaks at 72 hours.  On a more positive note, Keenan has opened his eyes and he recognizes us, and is able to move his left hand and a little of the right hand.  The doctors can only do cat scans, MRI's he will never be able to get as the bullet is enlarged in his right shoulder muscles and trying to remove will cause more harm than good, and a MRI can cause the bullet fragments to move and burn.  The cat scans show swelling in the brain and the doctors have been trying to manage that with medication.  I will say with that; and Keenan strong will to stay with us, the cat scans do not show any additional swelling... Praise God, but we still have many more hours before it could peak.  if it does Keenan will have to have brain surgery to allow the swelling to expand out instead of on the right side of the brain, which could be catastrophe.
He might also have to have spine surgery if the facture doesn't heal itself, he is in a neck brace and on ventilator.  Please keep Keenan in your thoughts and prayers.  He has a long recovery journey ahead of him, but with the love, support and our continue prayers he will come out of this tragedy.
