Keenan Vaughn Medical Fund

Kimberly and I were college friends and roomates.  Her son Keenan has been very ill.  Since August, he has had consant nose bleeds and severe fatigue.  He has had multiple tests and recently was seen at the Cleveland Clinic.  They do not have definate anwers yet, but are leaning towards Aplastic Anemia.  He is too weak to go to school and has a near constant nose bleed.  He will require more tests, medications and treatment that may last his lifetime.  The definitive treatment may be a bone marrow transplant. They live in Dayton, Ohio, so the drive to Cleveland is a long one.  Kimberly just passed her NCLEX for her LPN and is continueing with her school work to obtain her RN.   As if this werent enough, the recent rain flooded her street and car, which contained her new school books and destroyed the engine in her car.   They could use a little help !   Hotel rooms in cleveland while he is hospitalized, gas money,  help with rent and essentials as it is difficult for her to work with Keenan so sick and money to cover medical expenses and tests her insurance is denying.   

Kimberly is a great person who has been handed more than her share of tragedies and hard times.  She is a great mom and loves her son.  As a single parent, she needs some help.  Anything you can give will not go to waste.
