We all need from time to time, to stop what is not working in our life and ask for help.

My name is Keenaanee; most of my friends and loved ones call me Kee. I started transitioning in July of 2021. I am no stranger to the journey of a transition, as I've been there emotionally and financially for many friends over the years.

My journey started abruptly; changes happened rapidly as I knew what I needed to do. I've helped others through this journey so I had lots of experience on my side. I lost over 140 lbs just since in 2021, I quit smoking; got my letters all in order, I hit the ground running with a plan. But as we know plans don't always work in our favor.

My motivational energy and happiness are through the roof and living my life as full and real as I can. The one thing holding me back and desperately trying to take me down a dark path is my medical costs, which have been through the roof. I've had some surgeries paid for by insurance but others I've had to pay out of pocket, depleting my life savings. I paid $6,000 in 2021, $18,000 in 2022, and $22,000 in 2023, as of this edit I still need about 25,000-30,000$ more to cover everything. I don't have the emotional fortitude to fight every bill that gets submitted, it is an overwhelming cost.

I need help, as so many others do.

Helping cover what I have done already would go far, but there still is another large hurdle I no longer can afford that insurance won't cover. Electrolysis and Laser Hair Removal. I suffer daily with skin and hair issues, it literally runs my life.

To those around me, I love unconditionally; part of that unconditional clause means it's hard for me to ask for things. So here I am asking for help.
