It's that time again! Help us get Kearny the paper its students need to succeed!
Gen. Philip Kearny Public School is a Title I school located in the Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia. This K-8 school has ~350 students, 99% of whom are free-lunch eligible, with an average class size of 25 students.
Kearny is a school filled with active, vibrant learners whose test scores do not reflect what they might be capable of with proper funding. But for learning to happen, we need to start with the most basic supplies, which is why we're back again with a good old-fashioned PAPER DRIVE. It's a well-known fact that Philly schools are underfunded, sometimes running out of paper in the middle of the year . We're here to make sure that doesn't happen at Kearny.
You came through last year with an entire pallet of paper! That made a world of difference. You can help our children learn by making sure they have the most fundamental building block of a decent education.
