Hot water needed for vulnerable women & children!!

Due to unexpected complications with the former system, we are still having issues with them which are still not completely fixed. We are still requesting donations as our plumbers, Sheffield Plumbing service (Josh &Cameron) have been working extremely hard to restore hot water for us but it is proving to be an even more demanding job than anticipated!
“Can you help Sheffield Women’s Aid urgently??
We are desperate for some help as, unfortunately, our water heater has broken down. This means we have had no hot water since the beginning of the week and, whilst we have quotes for a new water heater to be ordered and fitted, it is going to be a highly costly exercise (in the region of £10,000). We have 16 women at our refuge, most of them with children, and due to this recent disaster, they have already had no hot water for at least a week, and this is likely to continue for at least another fortnight.
As a charity, this level of expense is something we are not in a position to simply pull out of a hat, so we are hoping that some of you would be kind enough to make a small donation towards these costs. We would really appreciate any amount. By helping us, you will be helping to improve the lifestyle of some highly vulnerable women and children. I am sure that you will understand that their lives are complex and traumatising enough, without the “luxury” of hot water for them/ their children.
At Sheffield Women’s Aid, we believe that every woman and child deserves a life free from fear. We offer safe refuge accommodation, and have been keeping women and children safe since 1974.
