Molly's Mission

The friends of Molly Hardesty will be holding a “Just Breathe” benefit on Saturday, January 24th located at EP!C in Peoria, IL. At the young age of 31, Molly was diagnosed with lung cancer this past September and has undergone surgery to remove 1/3 of lung and recently finished chemotherapy on December 4th, 2014.  Unfortunately, this week she had a setback in her fight and tumors were found in the lung and lymph nodes.  Molly is about to embark on the fight of her life .   We are asking for your help to reach our goal of providing her and her family with as much financial help as possible. Molly grew up in Peoria, IL and attended Richwoods High School and Eureka College where she played both basketball and softball. Molly taught for 8 years, one year at Canton Junior High and seven years at Limestone Community High School. Throughout her teaching career, most recently at Limestone, ...Molly served as head softball coach at for the past four years. Molly has spent countless hours giving to others whether it was helping young students in the classroom or on the softball field. Now would be a great time to give back to Molly!
