Doane Choir trip to South Africa

Hello, Friends and Family!
It's your favorite little adventurer hoping to continue fulfilling my mission of achieving all "once in a lifetime" experiences. Just as a little update, I am in my senior year at Doane University in the process of getting my Vocal Performance and Theatre degrees with the expected graduation date of May 2018. I have been blessed with a wealth of opportunity and experiences from Doane; especially with the Doane Choir. With your contributions, I will be able to end my time with Doane on the most incredible note.
In May of 2018 (right after I graduate), the Doane Choir will be travelling to South Africa for a whole 14 days. While on the other side of the Earth, we will be unified with a new culture by our gifts of music and opportunities to explore. With open minds and hearts we will get to learn about the land and leave a few pieces of us there while we gather a lifetime of memories. Your donations will go toward many expenses (Flights, meals, lodging, safaris, guided tours, museums, etc). This means that every single penny counts toward something incredible (and in the case of meals, delicious.)
While it seems like I am asking a lot from you, know that I am working my booty off to pay for this trip as well. I am living in Lincoln and commuting to Doane this year, working a job in Lincoln before classes and on weekends. While on campus, I also have two work study jobs which I work as frequently as the college (and our departments budgets) will allow.
If you so choose to donate, you will be notified of a free concert featuring myself and a few very special guest performers in early spring as a "thank you" for your love and support.
I am so grateful for your time, I hope you will consider aiding me in my journey with a choir that has changed my life for the better.
