Edgar's Miracle Crew

On January 12, 2015, Edgar was diagnosised with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. This is the second time our family has battled the cancer monster.  What we learned throughout our daughter Natalia's cancer journey was to stay positive and live each moment like the miracle it is.

We met with an oncology doctor in Fresno on January 16th and have decided to seek a second opinion outside our wonderful city. Because of our experience with Natalia, we know when you are in the presence of a doctor that you can trust with your life. We did not find that in Fresno. Edgar is a warrior and when preparing for battle you need people with the same mind set. We will find that doctor and fight with everything we have for each additional moment we have with each other.

Could we wallow in anger and grief that aggressive cancer has come into our lives again? Yes, we could; however, we will not! We will stand and fight and live each moment of life like the miracle it is.  We will gain strength through Natalia’s words. “It’s all in your heart. You have to be strong in your heart.”
