Ayúdame a oír

Hello,

My name is Bastian Jaime.

I’m 7 months old. I was born on June 7th of 2020.

As if giving birth in the middle of a pandemic wasn’t stressful enough for my parents, I suffered from Transient Tachypnea of the    Newborn (TTN).

And with that, I started a battle for my life  so I could be able to go home with my mom, dad and big brother. I spent 37 days in the NICU, learning how to breath on my own  without any assistance.

Thanks to my will to live, to my amazing       doctors and all the prayers from my family and friends, I came out victorious.

Today, I face a new challenge. I have been   diagnosed with severe bilateral hearing loss, which means I can not hear on either side.

My only chance is a Cochlear Implant surgery.

Sadly, my insurance does not cover the surgery and it’s 70,000 dlls cost.

My parents, family and friends are doing everything within their reach to help me.

Ideally the surgery should be done when I turn 1 year. But the latest before I am 1 and a half. 

Today I need you, please help me reach my goal. Anything can help.

Hola, soy Bastian Jaime Montes de Oca.
Tengo 5 meses. Nací el 7 de Junio de 2020. Como si haber nacido en plena pandemia no fue lo suficientemente estresante para mis papas, cuando nací tuve Taquipnea transitoria del recién nacidoY ahi empezo mi lucha por vivir y poder estar al lado de mis papas y mi hermano. Pase 37 días en Terapia Intensiva, aprendiendo a respirar por mi mismo y sin ayuda de un ventilador
.Gracias a mis ganas de vivir, a mis doctores y a todas las oraciones de las personas que me quieren salí victorioso.

Hoy, la vida me enfrenta a una nueva batalla. Me diagnosticaron Hipoacusia Bilateral profunda, lo cual quiere decir que NO escucho y mi ÚNICA oportunidad de poder hacerlo es una cirugía de implantes cocleares.
Desafortunadamente mi seguro no lo cubre y la cirugía asciende a más de 70 000 dlls.Miis papas y familia están haciendo todo lo posible por recaudar el dinero.

Hoy necesito de ti, ayúdame a alcanzar mi meta. Cualquier cantidad ayuda.
