Charlie’s road to recovery

My names David Palmer and I am currently trying to raise money for my dog Charlie. Charlie recently had a traumatic accident happen and has hurt his spine pretty severely. He currently can’t stand on his own and is unable to put any weight on his front legs. We took him to our primary vet yesterday when he was visibly in pain. They immediately noticed it was something more serious. We took him to the ER where he waited 6 hours to be seen by the neurologist. They decided to keep him overnight to run more test. He currently is in the hospital and receiving care from the VCA animal hospital in Aurora. He had his spinal surgery today and is currently on pain meds trying to slowly recover. We have been told it could be weeks to months before he may be able to walk on his own again. We are asking for anyone that is able to help Charlie on his road to recovery. We appreciate anything that we can get to help pay for his medical bills. Charlie is our first family dog so are emotions our all over the place right now. Charlie has been through a ton being a rescue dog. He has so much life left in him and so much love and care to give to everyone. We are hoping to see Charlie out playing again soon. He is a strong pup and we know he will be better soon.
