Kayla's Treatment

Kayla is a well known and well loved member of our wonderful feather & fur family at Eagle Heights Wildlife Foundation in Kent. 

Whether it be at Crystal Palace home games, your friends wedding or hanging out with Kings of Leon, if you have seen Kayla, you remember her! 

She is beautiful, graceful and sometimes a real Diva. She has a personality to rival many and is a true character. 

Unfortunately, for the last few years, Kayla has had a reoccurring issue with inflammation in her feet. This causes her discomfort and sometimes restricts her flying. 

Recently, the issue has reoccurred, but a little worse that usual. So, we are now making arrangements for treatment.  With an Eagle like Kayla, only a specialist vet can help with this issue, meaning, she will need to travel to Swindon to an Avian Veterinary Surgeon.  

This has hit us at a time of worldwide struggle. Since COVID 19 caused a lockdown, Eagle Heights has been forced to close and will remain closed for the foreseeable future due to being a small site and social distancing rules. 

We hate asking for donations, at any time, but especially during a time of national and international crisis. But we unfortunately cannot afford this treatment without some help.

We will naturally keep everyone updated with how Kayla is doing and her treatment process.
