MaKayla’s Fight Against Cancer

On New Years Eve 2019 MaKayla complained of stomach pain. I took her to the emergency room at Christus Trinity Mother Frances. They did a CT scan and informed me that she had a tumor on her left kidney and  that the kidney needed to be removed. They told me that she needed to go to children’s hospital in Dallas immediately to proceed to see when would be the best time to remove her kidney and also the tumor attached to it. We went to Children’s as a direct admit and after being there for 18hrs they informed me that they didn’t accept MaKayla’s insurance. So now we were in Dallas not knowing where to go nor what to do for the next 6 hrs. Finally a dr came in and informed us that we would be transferred to Medical City Hospital. So after being at Medical City for a day and running numerous test the following day her Kidney and large tumor was removed. MaKayla has CANCER that will require chemo and will have to travel out of town to do so appropriately for the next 6-7 months. We are  a family in need right now and any amount helps. We love our baby dearly and would like to explore every opportunity to get her better. We will forever in our hearts be grateful Thanks in advance.... MaKayla’s Family ❤️
