Kause for Katee

This is for my Chica.

Katee Klein is a 33 year old amazing woman from Louisiana. She is a loving mother, friend, daughter, sister, wife. 10 years ago she was driving to work and had a seizure and got in a car accident. The doctors discovered that she had a brain tumor that was cancerous. The doctors performed 2 surgeries to remove the tumor and then shorty after had to receive radiation treatments. During this time, she wasn’t able to drive for many years because of the seizures she was still experiencing. With God’s faithfulness, years later, she was seizure free and then was in remission for 5 years.

While she was in remission, she was a hard working single mom, attending college to finish her Marketing degree and at the same time building a future for her and her son Tristan. God blessed her with the opportunity of building her first house to call home.

Moving 2 years forward, she met the love of her life and recently got married. What once was just Katee and Tristan, is now her husband Cody and her new step daughters Addy and Logan. The Smith Family.

About 3 months after they got married Katee got sick again and this time they found 3 brain tumors. The type of brain cancer is called oligodendroglioma which is a grade 3. She has been taking chemo treatments for the past 10 months but sadly, last week her and her family found out that the treatments are no longer working. Not only hearing that heart breaking news, the doctors also found 2 more brain tumors. All 5 tumors are located on the left side of her brain. Which impairs many things such as writing skills, speaking skills, motor skills, long term/short term memory loss, difficulty to understand verbal. In instances, if someone were to talk to her it would take her some time to understand what they’re saying. The list goes on and on. Katee and her family are now looking into other options of medical treatments as she CONTINUES TO FIGHT FOR HER LIFE.

I wanted to set this up in hopes to help her and her family with financial strain this has put on them due to her not being able to work at all. Also, by lifting her up in prayer. Even if you don’t have the resources, please keep her in your thoughts and prayers, it truly would mean the world. Prayers are everything. Support and eternal love will always prevail.

I love you my Chica. This is someone who I have had in my life since I was five years old. The memories and times we shared growing up together are something I cherish to this day. We are never alone coming together as one for the love of this beautiful life I’ve experienced time and time again.
