Kathy's Kastle - Final Expenses
Donation protected
If you've been following this, you're aware how much it means that Mom was able to remain at home. Thanks to this campaign, I was able to grant Mom's final wish. She passed away peacefully in her home on August 14, 2021.
Mom said repeatedly how blessed and loved she felt by all the kindness and generosity shown to her. She would be completely overwhelmed. As I am to this day. I've called it a miracle and stand by that statement. Such a blessing is definitely a miracle.
Mom and I were just as blessed by finding such a caring in home agency to assist us. Hospice and family care can only do so much & good care at times like this makes a world of difference. While worth every cent (invaluable, really), the debt for her in home care is not covered. Mom had no life insurance or long-term care coverage. Her death benefits from Social Security and her retirement fund may cover her final service and maybe a headstone. I am asking for help with final expenses.
If you can help:
Donations may be made by PayPal at or can be mailed to Wendy Taylor, PO Box 444, Perry IA 50220 or memorials can be left at the funeral home. Arrangements are being handled by Hastings in Perry.
A separate bank account has been established for the handling of this campaign. All donations from all sources will go to this account. If more funds are collected than we need to use, Mom wanted any remaining funds to be donated to Ramona at First Class Care for Less to help someone else in this predicament and to the Perry Public Library.
Love, at every opportunity. Laugh, at every opportunity. Believe in everyday miracles, every day.
