Kathy's Care

Kathy has battled with cancer for a number of years.  She fought hard and stayed strong for a very long time.  Now cancer is taking over her body.  Today (1/18/19) Kathy was admitted to Hospice House.  Her insurance will cover her medications but will not cover the cost of the room.  Bess, her wife, has been paying out of pocket costs for the past 5 years for Kathy's care and they have depleted much of their savings. I wanted to  post this gofundme to help remove some of the stress.  It's hard to loose your spouse and have to worry about expenses.  Kathy and Bess are LGBTQ community activists who started back in the 1970's.  They have given so much to make everyone's lives better.  I am hoping the community can come together to repay these two beautiful women.  It's the least we can do for two who have done so much for us.  Any amount donated will go a long way to lift the weight from Bess's shoulders.  I thank you advance for anything you can do for them.
