Kathy Dawson Memorial Fund

Kathy Dawson, 49, went to the pearly gates of heaven on August 30, 2017. With her passing, she left behind three of the most important things in the world to her, her children.

Dakota (myself), 22, graduated from Kansas State University in May of 2017. She wouldn't have missed this day for anything (even when the 100+ stairs in Bramlage Coliseum may have had other plans)! Tanner, 13 and the eldest twin, has a sweet, caring heart. His hobbies include riding bikes, playing Xbox, shooting hoops, and playing the trombone. Connor, 13,  was always a "momma's boy." He loved to take walks with her and go on vacations as a family... even if it was just to Kansas City for a day.

Although Kathy did not have a memorial or fund set up for donations in her name, I have no doubt she would be more than happy with my choice to raise money for Tanner and Connor; including, a college fund, assistance in raising growing teenagers (they eat meals like three grown men combined!!), and, if push comes to shove, attorney fees for her wishes in their custody arrangement. 

I would never have expected such an overwhelming support and love shown from all those who knew my mom. Thank you all for your kindness in this difficult path my brothers and I are walking down in life.
