Kathleen Feeney, The Zombie Nun, Needs Your Help

Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-Hearted Strangers,

I am writing to you with a heart full of hope and a spirit of urgency. My mother, Kathleen Feeney, known to many as the "Zombie Nun" from the horror classic "Dawn of the Dead," has brought shivers and thrills to horror enthusiasts around the globe. A few days ago, life presented her with a plot twist worthy of George Romero.

Last week, my mother suffered a serious fall in her home in San Vito, a remote area of Costa Rica. This accident resulted in a broken hip and shoulder, necessitating immediate medical attention. Given the severity of her injuries and the limited medical facilities in San Vito, I had to travel to San Vito and evacuate her to San Jose, where she is now undergoing surgery.

The road to recovery for my 70-year-old mother is daunting. The medical procedures she needs - hip and shoulder surgeries, followed by intensive physical therapy - come with a significant cost, estimated at $50,000. This amount includes not only the medical expenses but also her living costs during the recovery period, which could be lengthy given her age and the nature of her injuries.

As her daughter, I have always admired her resilience and independence. But in this difficult time, we must ask for help. We need the support of friends, fans, and kind-hearted individuals to help cover these substantial costs. Every dollar raised will go directly towards her surgeries, post-operative care, and living expenses while she recovers.

Your support means more than just financial aid; it's a gesture of love and solidarity towards a woman who has spent a lifetime entertaining and inspiring others. Whether you remember her as the eerie Zombie Nun, or you're just hearing about her story, your contribution can make a significant difference in her life.

Please consider donating to help my mother, Kathleen, recover from this unexpected setback so that she can regain her independence and get back to her retirement in one piece.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any support you can offer. Together, we can turn this story of hardship into one of hope and recovery.

With deepest gratitude,
