Katherin's Fundraiser for Dhulikhel Hospital

I don’t normally do this BUT I have absolutely fallen in love with the Dhulikhel Hospital community here in Nepal and am hoping to give as much as I can before I leave. 

This summer I worked with UW’s community partner to develop culturally appropriate education materials to be used in addition to a structured talk in efforts to improve patient non-adherence. Flipcharts were designed in Nepali to cover basics of disease and treatment of COPD, eye-drop installation, and dermatologic preparation, as these contribute most to the local burden of disease. I am asking for any and all donations to assist in printing of materials as it can get rather pricey here, and if I can reach my goal the materials can be distributed to various outpatient departments as well as throughout the hospital’s 21 rural outreach centers. Basically, it will reach a much broader patient population. I appreciate any and all support and figured it couldn’t hurt- I am deeply indebted to the people here for teaching me so much about life and medicine. Thank you dear friends! Namaste
