Katharina Tower Preservation Fund

Without Rob’s tremendous renovation efforts and energy, the beautiful Katharina Tower at Elka Park would have continued to decay and become a liability versus the glorious destination it became for everyone on the mountaintop to come enjoy the panoramic views of the Catskill mountains from its restored deck.

The tower held a very special place in Rob’s heart and is a truly inspiring place. We would like to honor Rob’s legacy by creating an endowment to fund repairs and maintenance to preserve this beloved landmark for future generations.  It is also the place where Rob's ashes will be scattered instead of a burial site.  All money donated to this site will be transferred to a bank account that has been created for this purpose and will be managed by the Elka Park Association Board of Directors.  Thank you.
